Optrel Soft Hood Short Version

Description

A soft hood is the optimal solution for respiratory and face protection in dusty environments that do not require mechanical protection beyond that.

The soft hood protects the head and face by introducing purified air. The air supply comes from either an e3000X PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) or a supplied air compressed air system.

Thanks to the good fit and comfortable elastic band, it is suitable for almost head sizes. The distance of the visor can be adjusted individually.

The lightweight nylon fabric and generous cut make it comfortable to wear even for long periods of time. The wide panoramic visor with anti-fog coating always ensures an unobstructed view and basic mechanical eye protection.

What other advantages does the softhood offer?

Cleaning and disinfection

For cleaning, use warm water with soap or other non-abrasive detergent and a soft brush. After cleaning individual parts with a damp cloth, you must rub them dry or allow them to dry at room temperature. To disinfect, use a clean, soft cloth and disinfectant solution (e.g., a 1% chlorine solution with 10,000 ppm available chlorine). Alternatively, a combined detergent/disinfectant can be used.

With the soft hood, applications beyond metalworking can now be covered with Optrel technology. This includes applications in environments with dust or aerosol pollution where no special mechanical protection is required.
